A Communications Officer (Permanent Position)
The Communication Officer plays a key role in documenting, promoting, and sharing ADA's activities, programs, results, and impacts. This position requires an ability to immerse oneself in the field to grasp the essence of projects, their impact on populations, and to work closely with internal teams to develop and execute effective communication strategies.

Head of Programmes - Financing agricultural value chains (permanent contract)
Working with the Executive Board, you will help to define and implement the association's strategic development.
You will manage a small team of programme managers based in Luxembourg and in the field.
You will develop and manage programmes that combine the development of appropriate financial solutions, technical support and market access to enable small-scale farmers to secure their economic resources in a sustainable way, in the three regions where ADA operates. You will also manage sectoral support projects for institutional players in inclusive finance.
The position to be filled is a permanent contract based in Luxembourg City, with regular missions to the countries concerned.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop financing programmes for stakeholders in agricultural value chains in line with ADA's operational development plan:
- Identify potential partners (organisations active in the field of financial inclusion, solution providers for players in agricultural value chains);
- Carry out pilot projects with identified partners;
- Formulate projects consistent with the programme's expected results.
- Managing and implementing these projects in collaboration with your team and local partners:
- Prospecting, monitoring and supporting partners in the countries where we operate;
- Planning, monitoring results indicators and reporting;
- Budgetary and administrative management
- Managing institutional and partnership relations.
- Contribute to knowledge management activities (capitalising on lessons learned, programme-related communication, etc.) and take part in exchanges with other ADA teams.
Your profile:
- At least 5 years' relevant professional experience;
- Proven experience in financing agricultural value chains;
- Practical experience in developing countries;
- University degree in agronomy, environment, economics, international cooperation or equivalent;
- Proven skills in team and development project management;
- Excellent writing and organisational skills;
- Autonomy, adaptability and initiative;
- Bilingual French-English, Spanish an asset;
- Willingness to travel around 20% of the time in the field.
