Microlux

Microlux – the first microfinance institution for Luxembourg – was incorporated on the 31st of March 2016 under the initiative of ADA, BGL BNP Paribas, Adie and EIF. Given that the financial exclusion is also a reality in Luxembourg, microlux was assigned three main missions. The first is the promotion of the right of economic initiative and the backup of people who want to create their own business in Luxembourg in order to improve their economic well-being and to become financially independent. The second is to support Luxembourgish business starters, active entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs with individual coaching and training sessions. The third one is the financing of the creation and the expansion of enterprises who are not eligible for traditional bank credit by granting microcredits.
