Arendt is actively involved in microfinance as well as in social and environmental topics. For example, Arendt has had a dedicated impact finance team for ten years and played a key advisory role in structuring the first Luxembourgish microfinance fund.
Arendt is a longstanding partner of ADA. It regularly supports ADA events for example by hosting a Midi de la microfinance and by participating in the African Microfinance Week (SAM). At the SAM 2019 in Burkina Faso and 2021 in Rwanda, Arendt organised a training session with ADA and LMDF to help MFIs structure their interactions with investors.
